My daughter and i ordered Pakora for pick up. It was a little place tucked away off hyw 33. The aroma walking into the shop made us e en more hungry .
Our food was ready when we arrived. Prices were reasonable.
Their Butter chicken, and Samosas were incredible!!
We will definatley be ordering from Pankora again!!!! -

So pulling up to this place, and walking in? Was super sketchy. I almost left. But i am so glad that I stayed.
I had the Channa Bhature with chick peas. I've never had it before, so I don't know what it's supposed to taste like, but this was amazing.
The fried bread was so light and flaky, and so buttery. Melted in my mouth. Amazing.
The chickpea curry was fantastic as well. Probably one of the best I've had. Full of flavor, the right amount of heat upfront, and just a little that lingered.
The person working, the chef (possible owner?) Was a bit of a dick. -

Absolutely delicious Chat Papri. Crunchy, savory, with the slightest hint of spice. Cool and refreshing on a warm day. Had this along with Vegetable Pakoras which were so light, crispy, and filled with flavor. Authentic Indian taste to everything I had. My kids had Butter Chicken, and while tasty, it had a slightly sweet flavor, which made it not quite as enjoyable. The made to order naan were amazing! I will be back.

I've been here a few times and everytime, it's due to my huuuuuge cravings for Indian food. Ahhh, Indian food, making me drool already.
I'm a huge fan of their butter chicken. I don't order anything else so sorry I can't be of much help with the rest of their menu. I figure since I like the dish so much, why should I switch things up? Sue me, I'm boring sometimes.
Their butter chicken comes with rice, and your choice of naan/roti. It is served on a silver plate and brought to your table. They give you a choice in degree of spiciness. I LOVE it hot, so I chose "very spicy." Not going to lie, it wasn't too spicy but I'm assuming it is because they are catering to Westerners (hello.... it's Kelowna!). The flavors are on point - not to sweet, not to salty; a perfect balance. I know butter chicken is usually greasy, I mean, it basically says it in the name "butter chicken," but it's not greasy at all! I don't feel guilty mopping up the sauce with my naan/roti until the plate's clean.
The place is somewhat small. It is located in between pawn shops. Seriously, it's a strange location. You'll understand when you get there.
The only reason i'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because they've jacked up the prices and the portions have stayed the same. Butter chicken used to be 8 dollars but now it's 9 dollars. *sigh* It's traumatizing especially coming from a poor university student in debt to my knees! Even that, it's not a HUGE ding in your wallet to come here every once in a while. You may cry a little inside but once you indulge in their food... I'm sure all those my-wallet-hates-me tears will dry up in no time.
PS: I don't believe they sell pizzas there anymore. Every time I've been there, I haven't seen pizza. But why eat pizza when you could have good quality authentic Indian food?
